Project Duties: Art Direction, Design, Illustration
Objective: Recently, Whole Foods Market got an update to the brand standards, so the gift cards needed an update to reflect the new brand identity. Additionally, we discovered that we were missing opportunities to connect with our customer needs by not offering cards for specific occasions. These are concepts I worked on with the new brand identity in mind. I used a limited color palette and illustration style to create a cohesive look and feel. I also designed an option for die-cut card carriers with the same illustration style and palette and a graphic card for cost constraints. In the end, they decided to do a mix of different designs for the cards (online and in-store) and a few of these were chosen for the project.
