RLCS Partners with the American Heart Association for National Wear Red Day 2024

At Rachel Landers Creative Studio, we thrive on creating meaningful, impactful designs that inspire action. This year, we had the privilege of collaborating with the American Heart Association (AHA) to bring their message to life for National Wear Red Day, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease in women.

Our team was honored to design and deliver a comprehensive suite of campaign materials for this incredible initiative, including everything from social media posts and digital ads to brochures, regional assets, and beyond. Here's a look behind the scenes of our creative process and how we helped the AHA spread the word about the importance of heart health.

The Importance of National Wear Red Day

National Wear Red Day, observed annually on the first Friday in February, is part of the AHA’s Go Red for Women campaign. This initiative raises awareness about the fact that heart disease is the number one killer of women, and encourages women to take control of their heart health through education and proactive lifestyle changes.

Heart disease often goes unnoticed in women, with symptoms manifesting differently than in men. The AHA’s mission is to change that through education, support, and by empowering women to make heart-healthy choices. When we were asked to design their campaign materials, we knew this was an opportunity to create visuals that not only attract attention but also inspire action.

Designing for Impact: Campaign Materials

Our approach to designing for National Wear Red Day was to ensure that every piece of collateral conveyed a sense of urgency and empowerment. This included social media static and animated posts, print ads, posters, activation guides, brochures, and more.

Looking Forward

Our team at Rachel Landers Creative Studio is proud of the work we did for the American Heart Association and National Wear Red Day. Being part of such an important cause was a humbling experience, and we’re excited to continue our commitment to creating designs that inspire action and raise awareness for important health initiatives.

As always, we’re looking forward to future collaborations that allow us to combine our passion for design with our desire to make a positive impact. Thank you to the AHA for trusting us to bring their message to life this year.
